I don't know if anyone can help with this. I've tried everything already and I have all but given up. See, last semester I bought a car from a man I met online. He introduced himself as the title holder and sold me the car as is. The problem is, when I went to register the car, the title was not the most recent one. When I called him back to complain he came and brought me a temporary tag for my car and said he would contact the REAL owner and get the updated tag for me. He never did.

I was driving around with the temp tag, the police pulled me over and had their guns drawn because the SELLERS had reported the tag stolen. Now I have a car and no title or no tag. I contacted original owner listed on the title and she refuses to help me by giving me a new title saying, "I am tired of this. I sold that car, the man resold it twice. I am not giving away my information to a stranger! Stop calling me!"

Everyone gets away. I get no car and I'm on the bus.

I called the police. They didnt even come. I filed a police report as soon as I realized I had the wrong title, nothing happened. Unless the original owner decides to help me by giving me permission to get the new title I cant do anything but junk the car. Its an old car 2000 Chevy but it was all I had.

I tried having my friends call the lady because the lady doesnt speak English but the lady is so upset and won't accept anymore phone calls.

I wish I didn't have to go through handling important matters by myself but I don't have anyone to help me. I'm alone in this journey.
